Soloist® Training IV - Digital Assessments
Language instructors will gain an advanced knowledge base of Soloist® instructor authoring tools enabling them to: Author Digital Assessments; Incorporating Digital Text, Audio, Image, and Video Prompts with Student Response Format Options of Multiple Choice (automatically graded), Oral, and Written Responses.
Virtuoso™ Advanced Features
This session extends the basic operational knowledge of Virtuoso™ instructor control and lesson facilitation for optimal language instruction. Language instructors and lab support staff will use
advanced instructor control features including but not limited to: Patterns, Conference Groups, Student Collaborative Projects, Instructor Preference Default Settings, and Test Response Analyzer.
Microsoft Word® and Power Point® in Your Language Lab
This session focuses on authoring and using Microsoft Word and Power Point activities/lessons for group and individual student activities. Participants will modify existing and/or author digital document activities for individuals, partners, and groups.
Finding, Using, and Incorporating Authentic Digital Content
This session centers on how to simplify the processes for locating, saving, and incorporating digital material. Participants will receive step-by-step instruction and reference material on authentic content material selection focusing on available internet resources.
Lesson Planning Drop In Lab - Optional Extension to All Sessions
Brainstorming Lab Lesson Planning, building off the knowledge acquired in the previous sessions, instructors’ resource the technology facilitator. Instructors will create several lab activities to support their lesson plans based on the knowledge acquired in the previous sessions.
